HI! I’m a Black Walnut bowl. I (and many of my siblings) was turned from a log originally intended for firewood, since the lumber yard thought I was not worthy of ‘lumber’. Obviously, when Harry revealed me, he saw that would have been a travesty. The ‘flaw’ of the inclusion (see the additional photo) makes me a lovely, unique piece. My Black Walnut wood under a tung oil finish has a richness that is often hard to match.
I’m a nice size (8.5 inches x 3 inches) and shape for many practical and aesthetic uses. Please give me a new forever home.
