This is a Miniature Birdhouse ornament for indoor decoration not an actual nesting structure for tiny avian friends. It can be used as a Christmas tree ornament or hung as a year-round decoration.
Each hand turned birdhouse from my shop is unique – both due to the design and the nature of wood. I do not mass produce a couple of designs. [Even if I could. 😉 ]
The body is turned from Black Walnut wood of a more ‘milk chocolate’ hue, the roof is Hickory and perch is hand-turned from Maple. The roof diameter is about 1.75 inches. The total height is about 2 7/8 inches. The opening is 1/4 inch. It weighs less than .8 ounces so it won’t bend a tree branch to the floor.
